В этом году surplus бюджета составляет $9.6 млрд.
Что же ждет нас дальше?
1. Повышение НДС на 2% (с 7 до 9) где-то с 2021 до 2025 (скорее раньше чем позже).
2. После повышения НДС поднимут субсидии для бедных с 800 млн до 2 млрд чтобы компенсировать.

Обложат НДС электронные сервисы с 2020:
Some examples of imported services include music and video streaming, apps, listing fees on electronic marketplaces, software, and online subscription fees.
The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore has proposed an overseas vendor registration regime to implement the GST for digital purchases.
Foreign suppliers that have a global turnover of more $1 million, and which sell digital services to Singapore consumers that exceed $100,000, will need to register to pay the GST.

• Online market or auction house services such as Alibaba and Craigslist.
• Content streaming services such as Netflix and Spotify.
• Websites that charge fees to facilitate the booking of accommodation, such as Airbnb.
4. Увеличили с 20 февраля налог на покупку жилой недвижимости (Buyer's Stamp Duty) с 3 до 4% на часть выше 1 млн.
5. Увеличили с 19 февраля налог на табак на 10%.
6. Продлили субсидирование повышения зарплат (Buyer's Stamp Duty) на 3 года (800 млн в 2017 для более 90 тыс фирм и 600 тыс работников).
Слегка увеличили вычет по налогу на прибыль (с 10 до 20%, максимум 15 тыс).
7. Увеличили налог на найм иностранцев (FWL) для marine shipyard and process sectors (подруга говорит, что повышают каждый год по 50 долларов, она еще помнит 150, сейчас 350 за работника в месяц).
(Замечу, что банки уже в прошлом году не хотели финансировать marine shipyard).
8. Продвижение инновация (Among the new measures include a productivity solutions grant to be introduced to make it easier for companies to access support to adopt off-the-shelf technology and productivity solutions.) - Надо разбираться что там имеется в виду.
9. Ввели налог на воздух Carbon Tax c 2019 до 2023. Пока 5 за тонну, изменят. Планируют поднять до 10-15 к 2030.
10. Вкладываем в инфрматруктуру
SAVE AND BORROW FOR INFRASTRUCTURE EXPENDITURE
Where possible, the Government will save ahead to prepare for costly infrastructure investments, such as the Changi Airport Development Fund set up in 2015 for the upcoming Terminal 5.
It is also considering borrowing by statutory boards and government-owned companies that build infrastructure, to help spread the cost of larger investments over more years.
To help lower the financing cost, Mr Heng said, the Government is "considering providing guarantees for some of these long-term borrowings for critical national infrastructure".
