Operator Permit will entail a fee of $400.
You may also be required to pay an application fee of $400 for each addition of an unmanned aircraft (UA) type.
Renewal of Operator Permit will entail a fee of $200.
The registration fee for each unmanned aircraft is $15.
The fee for an initial application for the first category is $500. Any variation (e.g. adding of category, adding rating in Class B) will be $200.
The fee for the theory test is $125.
Those who fly drones without the appropriate licences can be jailed up to two years, fined up to $50,000, or given both punishments for the first offence. Subsequent breaches can lead to jail terms of up to five years, fines of up to $100,000 or both.

Интересно, они такое видели: https://habr.com/ru/news/t/522610/

Это я к "will have to go through training and pass an exam"

Нет, ну я понимаю, что их это меньше всего волнует, но просто интересно - приходишь на трейнинг с таким дроном и инструктор охуевает.
